Role of Certified Six Sigma
Master Black Belt Six Sigma Master Black Belt or MBB is the highest possible Belt to achieve within the Six Sigma system. They are the hand-on experts who train and mentor all others. Most Master Black Belts are senior management, who has accomplished teaching skills; they typically work full-time leading Six Sigma projects. Six Sigma Master Black Belt oversee every phase of a Six Sigma project, creating budgets, ensuring training goals are met as well as the proper tools and methodologies are used. At appropriate milestones, they review the successes of the project. Certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt can be achieved through experience. You must have your Black Belt certification as well as have significant experience in Six Sigma projects. If you have met these criteria, there are several MBB certification courses available, both online and through universities.
